Who we are
Interesting Object is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@interestingobject.com.
Mailing list
If you join the Interesting Object mailing list, we collect your email address so we can send occasional updates about the launch, new objects and related news. We rely on your consent to do this. You can withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us.
Website operation and analytics
When you visit the site, our hosting and site analytics services may process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages viewed and referring page. We use this to operate and secure the site and to understand, in aggregate, how it is being used. We do not currently use the holding page for behavioural advertising.
Service providers
We use Intuit Mailchimp to manage the mailing list and send email, and Lovable to host and measure the website. These providers may process personal information on our behalf. You can read Intuit's privacy statement at https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/.
International processing
Some of our service providers may process personal information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for those transfers.
How long we keep information
Mailing-list information is kept until you unsubscribe or it is otherwise no longer needed. We may retain limited suppression information so that we can continue to respect an unsubscribe request. Technical analytics information is retained only as long as needed for site operation and measurement, subject to the settings of the relevant provider.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise those rights, contact hello@interestingobject.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice before the shop opens if we introduce order, payment, delivery or other customer-data processing that is not covered here.
